I’ve been feeling a pull over the last few years to offering longer term courses.  It gives time and space for more thorough training and experience. I find it very satisfying to work with people over time so that we can deal with issues that come up over time in life.  Also, this course will now become the pre-requisite for taking the three year Shamanic Healing Training.  So if you have been interested in the Shamanic Healing Training, which won’t be offered again probably until 2013, this is a good place to get started. 

The course will cover a combination of many of the classes I offer, but I will be putting them together in a continuous way and adding some things I may not have found the place to teach before.  I will leave some room for what I am led to teach intuitively along the way.  The course will include things such as:  shamanic philosophy, grounding, shamanic meditation, working with your power animal, journeying, psychic protections, the medicine wheel philosophy and how to work with it, the shamanic philosophy on prayer and how to make a prayer stick, manifestation along with making a manifesting arrow, working with guidance and meeting your spirit guides,  shamanic techniques for developing focus, transforming emotions so that you can stay more centered in your life, understanding and coming to peace with your ego, possibly making a power shield and a directional shield and much more. 

The benefit of taking a class like this is that this knowledge can help you to live a happier, more peaceful and fulfilling life.  This process doesn’t happen overnight, but with commitment and the support of a teacher and other students of like mind, you will be amazed at the changes that can happen in your life.  I often say that I don’t think shamanism is the only way to find spiritual connection, and I believe that.  You may find that shamanism fits for you at this time in your life and you are drawn to making this kind of commitment.  I know you will be glad you did!

Even if you have taken the basics class, The Circle of Life or some other classes from me, you will still find value in this course, as we will take everything to a deeper level.  I am very much looking forward to this journey with you!
